Saloon Brussels #04 – Des Blocs festival

After the summer break, Saloon Brussels comes back with an unusual event.

Hosted by Saloon member Daphna Krygier, who will welcome us at la Cité Modèle of Laeken for the multidisciplinary Festival Des Blocs of which she’s General Coordinator, the September edition of Saloon Brussels takes place over a full afternoon.

This year, the festival presents a solo exhibition of the photographer Mous Lamrabat, a solo exhibition of 13 Pulsions, the choir installation SMing, plus a series of surprising installations in vacant apartments (with a stunning view over the city of Brussels).

Along the exhibition programme, a selection of performances takes place all around the complex.

Daphna gave a private tour of the exhibitions, and presented the process that each year leads to the festival.

Program:
3:30 pm – Exhibition guided visit
4:00 pm – Performance Face A: Bloc Party by the company “Des hommes qui portent et des femmes qui tiennent“
4:30 pm – Histoires provisoires d’un jour de pluie by David Murgia
