With a background in Art History (ULB), Management (ICHEC) and Digital for Female entrepreneurs (Google Atelier), Eléonore Duchêne is authentic, open-minded and creative team player (bridge people) always up for a challenge and loves developing innovative ideas to create new projects. Since 2014, She has been working in Communications and Audience Development in the cultural sector. First, she worked as Marketing & Communications Manager at the Centre for Fine Arts (BOZAR, Brussels). She managed the communication plan of exhibitions as Spanish Still Life, Brussels is a Plaizier, Picasso, Congo Art Works, Facing the Future, … She also had the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of Partners ‘in’ and ‘out’ Belgium (BRAFA, Art Brussels, Visit.brussels, Communicating the Arts, …) She is now recently working as Digital Strategist & International Developer for Brussels City Museums. She volunteered in non-profit cultural and feminist organizations as MuseomixBE, the Council of French-speaking Women of Belgium or Poisson sans Bicyclette. Since May 2019, she followed a 2 months entrepreneurship intensive program for women (organized by Elle-magazine and 1819brussels) to launch her business to coach and support women artist to make more visible by finding clients, projects and space to exhibit. She is actually working on a book “Women Behind Museums” to give more visibility to the wonder-women working in Brussels museums and to show the diversity of often un-know professions.
