On June 15, Barbara Cuglietta joined the Jewish Museum of Belgium to take up her position as Director. A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique, she began her career in international finance between Brussels, New York and London. Initiated into the history of Modern Art at the Central St Martin School in London, she gradually specialized in contemporary art. In 2010, she co-founded and ran the VidalCuglietta gallery in Brussels, representing a selection of national and international emerging artists. In 2014, she was appointed Deputy Director of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts de la Cambre, and then took on the role of Director of the Gladstone Gallery in Brussels in 2017. In addition to these activities, she has carried out several curatorial and consultancy missions in Belgium and abroad.
