Amandine David is a designer and researcher whose practice celebrates sharing as a methodology and opportunity to redefine design processes. Working with both technologists and artisans, her work is located at the crossroad between traditional craft techniques and digital fabrication. Through a material based research Amandine aims to create hybrid tools, tangible languages and new collaboration processes challenging the friction between machines and human knowledges.
Amandine is also the co-founder of Hors Pistes, a nomadic residency program that initiates encounters between craftsmen and designers and explores the value of trans-disciplinary and cross-cultural collaborations.
