Passionate about everything related to the transmission and circulation of works, Laurence Van Goethem worked for a long time in the field of theatre publishing before devoting herself to literary translation (it->fr), research, writing, and teaching French as a foreign language.
In 2022, she co-founded a media, La Pointe (www.lapointe.be), which mixes art, culture and society, in a spirit of sharing discoveries and questioning.
In this context, she has produced a series of portraits of artists, entitled « Recto/Verso, la double vie des artistes », which explores the life and work of artists with double jobs.
She also explores issues related to artistic practice and motherhood in podcasts called « Mommy* is an artist ».
